Emily derives immense satisfaction from her continuous journey of expanding her knowledge in the realm of mental health and enhancing her capacity to serve her clients while evolving personally.

 

Emily possesses a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Minnesota State University Moorhead and is currently dedicated to pursuing a Master's degree in Counseling at Grand Canyon State University. Her core commitment is to assist individuals facing a range of challenges, including acute mental health conditions, borderline personality disorder (BPD), pregnancy-related issues, postpartum concerns, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and the impact of domestic violence.

Emily is well-versed in various therapeutic modules, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused therapy, Crisis Planning, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered counseling.

 

With a rich professional background, Emily has contributed her expertise in a variety of settings, spanning psychiatric hospitals, outpatient mental health clinics, community mental health agencies, and crisis intervention services. Her roles involve client counseling, the provision of social services, and the implementation of change-oriented activities that are centered on the preservation of family and individual well-being. She excels at designing and applying diverse treatment modalities to resolve complex issues.

 

Outside of her professional commitments, Emily cherishes drinking coffee, tea, adventures, and quality moments spent with her husband and children.
