Our comprehensive mental health evaluations help identify a wide range of psychological conditions, offering clarity and direction for treatment or life decisions. Each evaluation is tailored to your unique concerns and grounded in clinical expertise and evidence-based tools.

At Autonomy Counseling, we offer mental health evaluations to explore complex emotional, cognitive, and behavioral issues. These assessments support accurate diagnosis and guide meaningful next steps in therapy, medical care, or educational accommodations. We evaluate for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum traits, trauma-related conditions, and personality disorders.

We use validated screening instruments, behavioral observations, clinical interviews, and a review of relevant health and family history to inform our assessments. This comprehensive approach allows us to understand each individual’s background, symptoms, and functioning in context, ensuring that recommendations are accurate, personalized, and clinically sound.

We also offer targeted assessments for specific concerns, as well as self-pay options, including:

How Long Is It?

Most evaluations begin with a 60-minute intake interview, where the clinician gathers background information and determines which psychological measures are appropriate.

ADHD assessments are typically the most straightforward and can often be completed in a single 2-hour session.

More comprehensive evaluations—such as those involving multiple or complex diagnoses—may span several appointments. These may include extended testing sessions, review of prior records, and follow-up visits to complete the evaluation process.
